Although the official release
date of the 2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe has yet to be announced, this latest
version of the blistering-fast sports car has already been gathering a lot of
hype. Here are some of the rumors circulating about the new Genesis Coupe.
Remarkably Powerful Engine
Sources indicate that the Genesis Coupe will be offered with a turbocharged V-6 engine. It has already been confirmed that the next Genesis sedan will be available with a twin-turbo V-6 engine. Expect the top-of-the-line version to push out more than 400 horsepower. However, a very efficient base engine will also be offered. The Genesis Coupe test mule has already been spotted taking laps around the track.
HTRAC All-Wheel Drive
For the first time ever, the Genesis Coupe could be offered with an AWD system. This would be a major benefit for Tennessee drivers who need to travel during the winter. The current version of the Genesis Coupe comes standard with a rear-wheel-drive setup.
Wider Stance
Based on the test mule, the 2016 Genesis Coupe will be a tad bit longer and wider. Due to the extra width, the sports car should deliver a very well-balanced performance on the road. The longer wheelbase could also equate to more trunk space.
Expect the 2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe to hit the market sometime next year, and be among the first to test drive one in reputable Hyundai dealerships in Cleveland.
